Morgan is trained to go outside. However there was a time when i first got my current job with longer hours. She started peeing before i got home. I tired the washable pads but she just thought they were another blanket in her pen. I sprayed the housebreaking pee stuff on the pad and still she wouldn't use it. after a few days of this my dad started getting home earlier then me and he takes her out so no more problems. she is also older now and can hold it longer. Back when she was a puppy i sometimes left pee pads in her cage when i thought i would be gone long. i'd come home to shreds. I tried taping it down and she managed to rip it up still. Then i went out and bought the plastic holders.... Well they held the pad in place alright but she ate the middle of the pad out! While she was doing this she never once went in her crate.
now i never leave anything in her pen with her. She holds it until i come home or until someone else comes home to let her outside. She never has an accident, unless its the runs and she just can't help it
