i was going to suggest this. I have never used pads for my dogs...but when I was babysitting a puppy that was being pad trained....I had the same problem. now that I have tessa and she was pad trained before coming here...I have bought some of the washable ones and leave one out for her by the back door and it is amazing. she used it today cuz it was rainy out...and I didn't even have to show her where it was. she found it on her own and used it!!! and there is no way for her to tear it up!!!
