I don't know if it means "I love you"; "Thank you" or what. Usually when he says thank you he comes to me and rubs his nose against the outside of my hand. I get this if he had gotten something special to eat or sometimes after a bath if he had gotten dirty somehow and felt better. The paw over the face he does only once in awhile. It is definitely a communication signal and not an itch thing. It usually happens when I come home after I have been out for a couple of hours or when we come back from a walk TO THE PARK! not just any walk. It kills me he is so cute sometimes. I have learned that yorkies as a breed may have varying personalities but often have very similar behavioural traits. ie: likes getting tucked into bed, dragging their tummys across the carpet etc. Any ideas? |
I'm not sure what that means. I've never seen mine do that but, I bet it is adorable. The closest mine gets is when we are petting her and we stop she reaches over with her paw and pulls your hand back over to continue with the petting. I would say that it means he is very happy and that maybe it is his way of thanking you or showing you affection. Wow you live in Paris. I didn't realize there were so many different people from different countries that join this website. Welcome......
