I would most definately get him to the vet, if it does not get much better soon. My son & daughter-in-laws yorkie ate something while we were visiting them last week and got something caught in his throat he was coughing and wheezing trying to get it up or go down. He didn't do it for long though someone came to the door and he started barking and it dislodge itself. But, I would most definately get him to the vet if it continues.
