Judy, it turned out beautiful! I love it! Why would you use flannel instead of batting? Is it too heavy for our warm weather or did it turn out too bulky?? Just wondering. I am thinking about one and trying to decide what fabrics, etc. I want. Have you seen the denim ones? They don't put any batting at all in them.
