I dress Lacy every day...her skin is a little dry but I think that's more from her being bathed often than her clothes. I don't see how clothes would cause dry skin. The only downside to them having clothes on is you need to make sure you brush them after taking clothes off so they don't get tangles or matts and it does cause minor hair breakage (so show dogs can wear clothes).
