Default Miami Yorkie Status

For those of you that read my plea for help on my 8month Yorkie I just wanted to report the good news that she pulled through.
We live in Miami, Florida, and from my last post I see that it has been about 3weeks since I sought advice.
It was touch and go for awhile, and it certainly seems like it has been longer than two weeks.
We took Max to the emergency clinic and from there to another dog hospital for a full week of treatment and oversight.
Max coincidentally returned to us last Saturday, and her first week with us, which also feels like much longer, has been a good week.
Her first few days she felt her way, and seemed not to recognize the 4 of us, but by midweek he was essentially back to normal.
While he is still thin, he has gained some weight and is eating and acting normal.
What was the problem? The doctors diagnosed a pancreatic disease probably stemming from something eating, though xrays did not reveal anythinGg.
While it set us back $2,000, at a time when we did not need such a hit - I have been unemployed since October, we have no regrets in having done it.
The first few days when Max was still on the brink the conversation was had about putting him to sleep, but we allowed the extra time to see what direction he took, and we are glad we did.
He deserved the chance to live, and we are glad that gave him the chance.
The 4 of us are happy and the family unit is back in tack.
Now that Max is will, pray for me, so that I can quickly get a good job.
For those of you that cared about Max, thank you and we are pleased to report that he is well,
RG
