Bleeding from Stool -- ): Hello Everyone,
I wonder if your dogs experienced bleeding from his/her stool. If yes. Can you please let me know what heppened? and how did you solve the problem?
Here's my Sparky experienced, he had bleeding in his stool at 7pm on Mar. 12, and we were so scared and took him to the emergency hospital. At that time, Sparky already stopped bleeding. Vet did his temprature test, it was normal. Then she said that we have to leave him there for the night for the tests, then she asked us to pay $1600. We called at the same night, nurse said that Sparky is stable. Then we called again in the morning of 13th, they said Sparky was fine, and he was playing. However, they won't let us to take him home until further observation. This morning, we called again, vet said that we can pick Sparky up tonight. Then she asked for $2500 in total. I was shocked for this charge, and I didn't know what exactly they did. More ridiculours thing is when I asked her what caused this bleeding as I knew that he didn't pick up anything or ate anything wrong. She said that she's not sure. From all the tests results, everything was fine.
Can you believe this? My friends told me $25oo is way too much money for this treatment. It's not like surgery.
Do you think that this Vet rip me off? Do you know where I can go to complain about vets?
Thanks,
