I know you could have it custom made by a jeweler. I just got a really cute sterling bone with a sterling yorkie to go with it. The bone is set with Swarovski crystals. If you get the bone that's flat on the back (mine is set on both sides with crystals), you can have it engraved. They also have one with a heart and paw inside the heart I think, and they not only have necklaces to put them on, but charm bracelets too. Here's the link:

I see they're out of the Yorkie charm right now, but they get them back in eventually. I love my necklace and I rarely if ever wear sterling b/c everything else I have is yellow gold, but I always get nice comments on it.
