Two nights ago I posted a warning I had received from my vet, and the post disappeared, it was late so I didn't repost it. He had phoned me to cancel the appointment I had for yesterday to have CoCo's teeth cleaned as he was worried as they were having huge problems with the anesthesia they were using. He felt as she was small, he didn't want to take the chance and it wasn't life or death surgery. I never thought it might have any relevance to you guys in the States, but wanted to warn fellow South Africans on YT to question their vet before having anesthetics done on their pets.
Now I have just read about Skoshi passing away this morning
and now I feel so bad! What if it is the same anesthetic that is causing problems here??
Oh God, I feel sick. I am so sorry I didn't repost the thread.. I am going to phone him in the morning and ask him where it is made, here or somewhere else. If anyone is having a procedure done...
please check to see if your vet is aware of any problems. I am so sorry if I could have warned you guys earlier.
