I personally tried to stay away from Petsmart and other "commercial" places like that. I've read soooo many horror stories (some of which you'll find on this site) and I just couldnt do it. Also, they wont allow you to stay and watch... and for Meka's first time, I wasnt secure just leaving her somewhere for 3 hrs
which is what I loved about the groomer I found. She had no problems allowing me to sit at watch the first time she cut Meka
Not to mention, it takes her 1 hour to wash and cut Meka... So whats up with Petsmart and
3 HOURS?
However, if thats your preference...my only advise would be to do a little research on the groomers they'll have available. Meaning, I would at the least see who has the most/longest experience and if they're certified... imo
I think those places tend to hire in-experienced, younger folks...which is why there has been so many bad experiences...
