Shelby Rose shakes and hides in corners the rest of the night when we put hers on. I'm thinking it's probably that plastic like smell of the medicine that she doesn't like so we started putting it on like half an hour before bedtime and she's fine the next morning and doesn't stress about it anymore (except that half hour she stills hides off in dark corners).
