He made a lot of enemies and made such a big huge public deal about busting a prostitution ring a couple of years ago (proclaiming his disgust with the profession), etc. that (in my own opinion) he is getting what he deserves. Hypocrite, self righteous and arrogant always comes back to haunt and he is all of those.
I am very sympathetic to his family though
