We were able to get Bailey potty trained in two months. We were persistent and diligent and followed the instructions in "Housetraining for Dummies". We both work - so we had to modify some of the instructions - but the basics worked for us.

We laid blankets on the floor so I could wash them after accidents. I have an enzyme cleaner too - if by chance she did it on the carpet. And I didn't let the kids get her out - because they wouldn't watch her.

The whole idea is to catch them in the act and correct their mistake. If you can't literally watch - then keep the dog in kennel. Honestly, its that simple. If you can devote two months to house training and nothing else - you will get a dog you can trust for life!! Its worth it.

Please don't give up and good luck!!!
