I don't know how I missed this until now, but I did want to say how sorry I am about your little grandson. That's heartbreaking to see the little one's injured so badly. I hope he'll be good as new.

I keep some drying powder that you can put in their ears to help keep their ears from being so damp which I believe is not unusual for this time of year. I get the powder at Petsmart.
