Hi everyone, thought I'd update you & thank you so much for being here when I needed you all & especially for the prayers. Well we left our house at 6:45am on thursday & my neice came over & spent about 15 minutes with Tia, Lexi & Max at 8:30am, 10:30am & 12:30am and we got home about 2:00pm so she did really well but was really excited when she saw me. As far as my grandson, he was being watched by my daughter in laws aunt and was only there for half an hour when she ran over his hand with the vacumm cleaner!!!!! and caused a huge 3rd degree burn on his tiny little hand so he had to be rushed to the burn center and a hand specialist had to be called in to operate because they feared tendon & nerve damage because he didn't even cry because he couldn't feel it!! They had to make a huge incision in his groin to take donor tissue to graft to his hand and now we won't know until Tuesday if it took and if not he has to go thru it all again! They even have to put him under conscious sedation 2 more times to remove both sets of stitches but thank God they feel he will have full use of his fingers. This poor little guy. My son has such a temper I feared he would go after this aunt because he was sooo mad. She was very careless and we still don't know how she could have done it but we are thru the worst! The burn center said they see this all the time so for anyone with small children or grandchildren, please warn them about the dangers of kids & vacumm cleaners! Sorry for being so long!
