 Biting!!! What can I do?
Hi everyone
Yesterday we had a few people around and Tootsy bit people!! I am so shocked. She is such a sweet, loving little dog and has never bitten us. I didn't know what to say to them. The first time it was a child who was playing with her and suddenly Tootsy bit her! Then she bit someone on the ankle as they walked past her. She then bit my friend, who adores her, and is always coming over for a cuddle! My poor friend was so hurt especially as she was speaking to Tootsy in such a sweet way and telling her how cute she was - then she tried to pick her up and Tootsy just flew at her. Normally Tootsy loves this friend and is so excited when she comes over and spends all her time on her lap. What on earth made her do this. My husband feels that she felt invaded by so many people and was reacting to this by attacking. People were NOT happy and I had to put her in another room, where she cried. It really upset me as I have always told everyone that she is such a sweet tempered dog who just loves people. I feel I cannot trust her anymore and that hurts a lot. It totally spoilt my evening.
