Totally normal... "brittle and flakey" Its just the shedding of kitty's old nails... Gross but normal.. whats not normal is that kitty is supposed to do this herself, lol A sisel or natural tree with bark scratching post will help with that! Spike one with catnip and she should make friends with it!
