it's instinctive and a bad habit to break. i know most on y/t won't agree with me , but at his age i doubt he will stop marking. i would not do it. why put him through surgery and pain? get some belly bands. feel free to pm me at any time. i have a 4 yr old that's not neutered. he is healthy and happy, but needs to wear belly bands. next puppy will get neutered at a young age, but my vet told me once they start marking it won't stop.
