I recently just posted a thread about potty training and haven't got to many responses (granted its been about 12 hours
) But I have some more detailed questions...I have Watson pee pad trained but I want to get away from that and have him go outside. I work from 9-5 and don't know what to do with him while I'm gone. Right now he has "all access" to my apartment. If I continue this, I feel nothing is changing he'll just go over to the pad that I do have down and continue to use it. So do I keep him in a small confined area during the day, like an xpen? And keep a pad in there? I feel like that won't teach him anything b/c as soon as he has to go, he'll go over to the pad and use it. And then keep him in his crate at night? Also, in the evening when I am home watching him...do I keep a pad down in the "usual spot" or should I take that away to show him that isn't available anymore....ONLY OUTSIDE
