In South Africa we only have access to Eukanubu, Royal Canin and Hills, over an above shop sold dog foods which are of a poor quality. Tinka is an extremely fussy eater and my vet suggested that we put her on Hills puppy. When she was hospitalised for a tummy bug they fed her on tinned cat food (not pellets - too high in protein apparently). So now I feed my too little furbutts on tinned Hills Puppy Chicken, Hills and Royal Canin pellets mixed and Pamper (tinned cat food) they love it. Tinka still has days where she doesn't eat well, and I find if she misses a feed, she is eager to eat at the next feed. My other three dogs, (two Border Collies and a Maltese) get Ostrich pellets and my two little furbutts love to steal those and chomp away on them, which amuses me no end.
I forgot to mention that they lover raw carrots, apple, viennas and biltong(jerky) I tried them with sweet potato the other day, but they weren't too keen on that.
