We had a rough night. She would not eat but would drink water out of a bottle like we do at the beach. Then she would drive heave for 15-30 min after she drank anything. She was so pathetic. It seemed too that her throat might have been inflammed from the ET tube. It seems a struggle for her to swallow.
About 10 pm her bowels started waking up from anesthesia. It sounded like donald duck talking from her gut. It was so funny because it was so loud you could hear it from the other end of the couch. And she could hear it and kept looking at her tail to figure out where that noise was coming from.
I slept with her on the couch all night I was so worried
She is a lil more spunky this morning but will only sniff her food. Maybe i will try to hand feed her in a lil bit.
Her food is moist and soft so she shouldnt have any problems swallowing it.
Her incisions looks great. She is a fast lil healer!
I just hope she eats soon!
