I know just how you feel.. I let my very good friend have my dallas.. he did not produce the kind of puppies I wanted and so I had to make the huge decision.. (we live in a park all winter in florida) we can only have so many dogs.. and in order to get a new female I could not have him as a pet.. I had two pets already.. so I have not seen him all winter.. it is so hard.. i think of him often.. and talk to his mommy about him often.. I cannot wait to get home to see him.. and I hope when I do.. that he will love me still but still be happy to go home with his new mommy.. it is not an easy thing to do.. I just hope dallas can come the odd time for a sleep over with us and have good play times with the other furbutts...he also needed more of a one on one so I am still hoping I did what was best for him...as you did for your baby..sounds like you found the perfect new mommy that would never shut you out neither..
