This is a very common procedure in yorkies. For some reason, yorkies have difficulties losing these teeth on their own. It absolutely necessary that you have the milk teeth removed, if they don't lose them. Decaying food gets wedged between the two sets of teeth and cause serious problems. Most people do this when their puppies a spayed. I hope you reconsider spaying her. Toy breeds, like yorkies, are very difficult to breed successfully, so many inherited problems. Good luck with your decision.
