 What a tri-state area we have here.
The tri-state area is NY, NJ, and CT.
So we have had:
Governor John Rowland (Connecticut) who was imprisoned for his role in a far-ranging state corruption scandal.
Governor Jim McGreely (New Jersey) who resigned because he "outed" himself.
and now Governor Elliot Spitzer (New York) who is resigning due to a sex scandal.
Is that a Trifecta or what???
Jay Leno joked last night that Spitzer’s scandal “means Hillary Clinton is now only the second angriest woman in the state of New York.”
David Letterman offered a Top 10 List of excuses Spitzer might cite, including the number one excuse: “I thought Bill Clinton legalized this years ago.” |
