They shaved a lot more than I thought they would!!!
He cried when we got home - he wanted out to see everything, but can't get out!! Only to pee-he can sit on our laps- or lay in his bed if we are right there to make sure he does not get up! OH BOY!! That is for 3 wks
He is on Tramadol 50 mg give 1/4 tab 2-3 times a day
Carprofen-25mg- give 1/2 tab 2x ady for 5 days!!
Benadryl(no decongestants) 12.5 mg 2-3 times a day!
And if I need to give it to him;
acepromazine 10 mg- 1/2 tab 1 times a day- if it is needed!!!
some of his groeth plate was still there- they put 2 pins in and a tension bar, without touching his growth plates!
They were chcking his teeth before hi sugery and 2 molars feel out in there hand, but not the ones that need to come out!! They say they still might come out on his own!!
Another thing- they gave me an estiment of 1500-17--- they got him in and out - so it saved an the anathesia(SP)
the bill was only 850! Of course we have still some xrays to go- and I am sure other things , too! But knew they would be along anyway!! It was almost half what we thought! Still hurts the bank account!!
Now we just need it to heal really well and fast so everything can be right and he can play like a normal puppy!
