Take the shampoo that you bought and pour some into a small bowl, add some oatmeal and baking soda, add a little milk (I know it sounds odd.) Put it on her and work it down to the skin, you want it kinda pasty so it doesn't run off, paste it on and let it sit for about 5 min. Best way I have found when having to let things sit is to get in the bathtub with her and feed her treats, usually I make up a chicken breast and feed it to them while waiting for the time to be up. Then rinse really well and go back with a good oatmeal or tea tree oil conditioner.
I had this problem with my dads westie and it worked great. After a few times like this he didn't have any problems. |
