I didn't read the link but i know of a lot of people that do this. in fact, I saw a pink poodle at our local pet smart right after I got maggie

they don't use hair dye like we do,...they usually use organic stuff that does not hurt the dogs at all. it is just creative grooming. It was actually on the today show right before I saw this particular poodle. I see no harm in it as long as they are not using anythign that will hurt the dog. on the Today show, they had sooooo many different kinds of styles....one was done like an american flag, one looked tie dyed...it was really pretty neat
