Wow six daughters, you are so blessed girl, can't imagine how busy your life must be, and yes you certainly need a friend to lean on from time to time! I think that it is normal to have these feelings as I too left my small hometown in Illinois 16 years ago and moved to Oklahoma. This is home to my DH and after all these years I really can't say that I feel at home here and when I do go back to my hometown in Illinois, I really don't feel comfortable there either. I have always worked full-time and have been at the same company for 14 years now and consider my co-workers my family. I still get the negative vibes and rude comments from some now and then about the yankee thing but have pretty much gotten used to it and just try to consider the source. Your post brought tears to my eyes, know that people really do care and most that are on here are looking for the same friendships you are!
