I just put in my notice at my job too after working there 8 yrs. My job is at a church with kids, but I feel the same way you do about your job, except mine has been with kids. I'm really going to miss the kids, but I've been working at this job for 8 yrs, and still make the same amount I did when I was hired (which isn't very much).

it sounds like you definately know where im coming from! i've only had $1.10 raise in the 4 years ive been working there....
its hard... but i guess thats life... if we wanna get through it we have to do whats best for us. and what i REALLY wanna do is be a teacher... so i need to make sure i get through school for that...
