I have a strong feeling you are right. Honestly, there are very few breeders that are members of YT I'd look into buying a dog from. There are usually only a very few breeders here that will actually share what they do to health screen.. and I feel like if they were doing it, they wouldn't hesitate to say they do and why they do it. But I can see many reasons why they would want to avoid admitting to not doing it..

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
