Does anyone have a recommendation for an orthopedic surgeon in KS for luxating patellas? My rescue Pommie has been diagnosed with grade 4 luxating patellas and needs to have surgery at the beginning of summer. He is only 9 mo. old and I am heartsick for him. But he is a rescue and I knew we could face something like this. My tiny Yorkie had one knee done at the Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital of Wichita with Dr. Michael Nawrocki as the surgeon. She still favors the knee that he did but I don't think she is in any pain. My local vet said that she spoke to another vet who agreed with her that Dr Nawrocki has provided some successful outcomes for them. I know that K-State is an option, but their cost was much highter that Dr. Nawrocki's. Any opinions/ideas?
