yes, we did keep it a total secret. dh picked her up from gymnastics and I was in the front yard with Tessa....I hadn't brought her in yet. I wanted her to potty before she came in and was smothered by the other dogs
So we were in the front yard, dh and Trinity pulled up....she saw me with the puppy and her jaw dropped!!!! she was like
she jumped out of the car and was like "Is that OUR puppy?????? Is she a YORKIE???? Mom.....where did you get her???"
so I explained to her that I went to the airport and got her. she said "who did you get her from?" I said "A lady had her and I got her from the airport". I was trying to talk simple to her so she wasn't confused...but her response was HILARIOUS she said "MOM...did you STEAL HER????" I just laughed my butt off and was like "NO...I paid for her..so she is ours now
