I have 7, so were not cold at night, ha ha. Hubby helps with bath day, I wash he dries, we have an assembly line so to speak. I think its better to wait about a year apart. The reason? Its really hard to train puppies when they are paying attention to their buddy instead of you. That and I wanted each dog to have a full year of being the puppy.....before a new one came. 7 is probably too many, 4 is probably ideal but I sure wouldnt trade any of em for nothin.
