I haven't been on a plane since I was 8yrs old and that was only a short ride from Atlanta to Nashville.

In a couple weeks I will be going from Savannah, to Atlanta, to NYC, to Minneappolis (but I keep the same plane here), to Boise. I leave Savannah at 8:30 am and dont' get into Boise until almost midnight, so if you factor in the time change btwn time zones, thats almost 16 hrs sitting in an airport or on a plane.

So any tips for me? Am I allowed to bring snack on the plane? How big can my carry on bag be? Whats the best way to make sure my luggage doesn't get lost.

Any other hints, tips, suggestions will be appreciated.

I'm so scared I'm either going to miss one of my flights, or they're going to loose my luggage!
