Here they dye the easter chicks and ducklings while still in the egg- or so I'm told (not sure how). They come out VERY pretty and within about a month are normal color again. When we first moved here, my daughter went bonkers wanting one - NOT!! 3 dogs a cat 2 lizards and a fish are enough!
