we used to have the same problem with chewy when we first got him, and that was just 2 months ago...what we did is we got pee pads and did it in steps...when he pooped in the house we took a pee pad and set it ontop of the area and sometimes put his poop on the pad, then he started pooping around it and then finally on it and it only took a few days if that...then u know where he is going when he is going to poo so if u see him sniffing there then u just pick him up and bring him out...its a pain...but it worked...also we read that everytime u bring him outside make sure he is on a leach because otherwise he thinks its play time, this is really what sealed the deal for us...! it great now, he goes right after he eats in the morning, then in the afternoon and we dont have to worried about it all night long...! itsg reat!
