Yea I crochet, my husband is always calling me grandma as I make my layett sets for the pregnant girls at work. Wal Mart has a book (or used to) "I taught myself to crochet in 1 day". This how I learned(my grandma gave up on me and taught me to knit instead) This book also has instructions for lefties. pm me and I have some other links for you.
