If you're going to drive it for quite awhile, YES, it should absolutely "last" - it is built extremely well, and with extremely expensive parts (hence, expensive to fix *if* something does go awry). It's considered a "performance" car - so it should hold some value as well. It's a great ride, needless to say. So, partly - you're paying for performance - and partly, you're paying for MB's brand here too, and whatever it means to you. New cars are fun, so let us know what you decide!
