I think it's very important to limit his treats, and never give an unhealthy treat. Giving him an unhealthy treat should make you feel guilty, not the other way around.
I only give her healthy, all natural treats, but I feel guilty when I think she should be eating a balanced diet, instead of a carrot or pea, here or there. She's a stubborn one when she holds out for treats and I'm such a worrywort that I worry if she doesn't eat anything, her blood sugar will fall low, etc etc etc. I think I need to be stronger. haha.
