Some register the puppy just to say they are registered with AKC but IMO it's not really necessary to register a pet but I do like to see that they are registered so I will have record of them.

So, if I have an 8# - 8mo pup, he should be AKC Limited and sold pet only, to be spayed, because he's under the AKC standard? These things are soooooooooooo confusing to me and I want to get it right.
