In half brother/sister breedings it really depends on what parent you are doubling up on. Again a full knowledge of the line is required and the dog being doubled must be an extraordinary representation of the breed with exemplary health. Remember that you are doubling up the good but are also doubling up any bad that may be hiding in those recessive genes.
