Just by the three pics you posted it looks like the type of house I would like. There's so much potential to make the house yours. I live in a modern 2 story/basement and I hate it. DH liked the huge lot and the view. I have a friend who lived in a house that was easy to make warm and cozy. She would pick up what I considered junk and turn it into the most darling project. Learned a lot from her but it takes me ages to figure it out.
