Ellie's spay, liver biopsy and teeth cleaning took about an hour. Her incision was long and nasty (because of the biopsy) but she did fine. She wore a onesie and had to have pain meds...she was in a lot of pain. I had preop bloodwork done, she was monitored during surgery and surgery was done on a heated surface and I wouldn't have it any other way.
