I adopted mine when they were over 2 - so they had already been fixed, I'm assuming somewhere along the line they had been tested. I know for sure Bubba came from a show breeder so I'm assuming he was tested before he was ever sold.
My vet recommended doing a full blood panel the last time I was there and I wondered about the value in doing it, but didn't ask questions then
I know they generally do a little blood test - but they made this sound different, so I'm not clear on all the differences
