Hey guys,
I'm a Mommy
Get my baby today
I didn't get it from the breeder who had the tiny yorkie; I found another breeder that I was so much more happy with. 'Tia' is not a tiny; I will weigh her on the kitchen scales inabit when she wakes up... The breeder guessed she was about 2lbs, she's 8 weeks so I guess she will be a teapot????
Here's her story:
Me and my bf went to have a look at 'Tia'; there were 2 boys left and tia from a 4 part litter. I didn't get to see one of the boys as he was upstairs (he was already claimed for). 'Tia' was shy, reserved, I didn't think she liked me very much because she couldn't stand to held by me for more than a few seconds
Her brother was the 'joker' of the pair, he was running up and down, tail wagging being really cheeky

whether 'Tia' was more laid back.
Anyway we brought her, took her to the car, and because of traffic the 30min journey took about 2 hours; which I think was God giving me and T time to bond; because now (were at home) she doesn't want to be anywhere else other than in my lap as she is now (sleeping); if I put her down she tries to climb up my leg to get to my chest so I can hold her lol.
I have a few questions: when we took her from the car then introduced her to our home she was shaking and seemed really scared; she found the smallest space and hid, observing everything with her eyes only. Is this normal? She's ok now, shes fast asleep on my lap as I type.
Also; she last ate at 12pm (UK time) the breeder said her next feed should be about 4pm-5pm we gave her the food the breeder gave us; she only picked at; didn't eat much at all. I particularly wanted her to drink some water but she didn't touch the water at all. Is this normal? Shall I feed her some water from a bottle!? So that she gets some in her system!?
Also the breeder has her on some (cheap, supermarket, tinned wet food -lamb and rice and beef and rice); I want to get her onto eukamba (sp) I will gradually get her used to it - is dry food better for her or wet. What are the pros and cons of each. I know dry food is good for the teeth; but are the other pros?
Once she woken up i'll take some pics and try and figure out how to post them here.
