Betty does that with two of her toys!!
Her frog and her cow. She holds them in her mouth forever in a trance. Sometimes, she kind of growls at them (while she has it in her mouth!) Does Cozmo want to be the alpha dog all the time? Betty does, and I think this behavior is part of that.
