My Japanese Chin can oly survive with this food, Prescription ID, for his colitis, also with Tylan powder. He almost died from his previous medication, metronidazole, was hospitalized for 10 days due to a toxic build up in his system. Sometimes we must make choices for the quality of a beloved pets life even if not the best food. What is good for one dog isn't always good for another. I have 3 dogs on 3 different foods.
