It's been seven hours since he ate the cob. Earlier, while I was reading, he brought me a cob he must've hidden (that I couldn't find when I was searching the room). There were bits and pieces of the cob all over my bed so it looks like he must've chewed it up and may have only swallowed a few small pieces. The vet did get back to me, and he said although he thinks I should wait a few hours to see if his behavior or habits change, I could bring him in for x-rays and for a check up. I decided to wait and after seven hours, he hasn't vomitted, doesn't have an upset or tender stomach, and is acting normal. Although we still aren't in the clear zone until he poops, I'm hoping all is well. I have a few hundred dollars saved in my savings account so if he does need help, I will get it for him. I'm just praying that it will pass. Thank you all for your support and advice! I will keep you updated!
