my Smokey is a splitter (dad-biewer/mom-yorkie).....he is CKC registered.....and yes they do sometimes take on both colors and characteristics......Smokey's body is more like his mom's and his head and legs are more like the daddy......look at my avatar.....i get asked all of the time what kind of yorkie he is........
